Citar:As a big fan of both Leeds United and Football Manager I had always wanted to play a version of Football Manager featuring the title winning Leeds team of 1992. Bored with the game, I decided to try and make my own database. That was in February 2017. Now, one year later, it is finally complete. I say complete, but there is always more to add. I figured that one year is enough though, I want to play the damn thing!
The work I have put into this has been staggering. As a conservative estimate, I would say I have averaged around five hours a day, every day for the past year. When I began, I couldn't have imagined the amount of time I would end up investing in this. Every team in the top four divisions of English football is complete. I have included as detailed as possible histories for every player. Every player that featured in the Football League over the next nine years is accounted for. The database I have made is for Football Manager 2016, so the game starts in 2015, which is now 1991. As the years progress, true to life, youth players will pop up at their clubs at the appropriate time. For instance, Harry Kewell joined the Leeds youth team as a sixteen year old in 1995. In the game he will join at sixteen years old in 2019. The Football League will remain the Football League. The Premier League will never happen in this world!
Although the database is very much focused on the English leagues, I have created complete squads for the Scottish Premier League, Italian Serie A and Spanish La Liga clubs. Numerous other big clubs have complete squads - several in each of Germany, Holland, France, Turkey and Portugal. There are also a tonne of other players sprinkled throughout the game, as well as managers and coaches. Every international squad for every country at every major tournament from 1986 through until 2002 has been included. Every big name player throughout the world that emerged during the 90s will pop up in the game.
Kits have been added to every team in every complete league, and to various other teams as well. I had two great resources for this:

http://camisetassportclub.blogspot.co.uk
I have also included a face pack for just about every person in the game. Some people I couldn't find a picture of. I have also added the correct badges as best I could.
I have simmed and re-simmed, proofread and re-proofread. I am sure errors remain and if you find any, please let me know. The database can be updated for FM '17 & FM '18, but I'm not fond of those games, especially as the heavy focus on social media certainly doesn't fit in 1991. The files are free to download and enjoy, however I am going to ask that if you enjoy the game and can spare a couple of pounds through PayPal, I would be very grateful. A lot of work has gone into this, I could keep it to myself, but I want to share it. If I get enough donations I will also be able to update the database for current and future Football Manager games. I hope you enjoy the game, and please let me know what you think.
